memento rigor mortis is the final piece in a 45-minute show entitled DISLCOSURE/EXPOSURE. Created during a time of self-reflection and an attempt to understand the past, the show is based on themes of intimacy, self-consciousness, and hiding/revealing. The accompanying composition becomes less dense as the goose is skinned, finally revealing the mantra 'disclosure, exposure, this is all i know. i think i have no skin, no skin but my own.'
Performed at Clonick Hall of Oberlin Conservatory, Oberlin, OH, USA, on May 8th, 2012.
Special thanks to Erick Stoll and Chase Whiteside for video documentation.
